After successfully directing the Lord of the Rings, Peter Jackson may direct "The Hobbit". Jackson was previously attached only to direct the prequel to The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
It has now been revealed that Jackson is in talks to direct, which is every fanboy's dream. Many fans know that changing a director in the middle of a series can usually create an undesirable film, due to hostility towards the film before it's released and the addition of a new film making style with a new director.
