Director Sam Raimi is reported to be the current director for an upcoming "Wizard of Oz" prequel entitled, "Oz, the Great and Powerful."
Produced by Disney, the film will focus on the origins of the wizard before a balloon accident that leaves him stranded in Oz.
The Wizard of Oz is one of the most beloved and popular movies of all time and I am hoping that a poorly done or conceived sequel does not taint the original film.
