Producer Scott Rudin(No Country for Old Men) has acquired the rights to the biography "Cleopatra: A Life". Angelina Jolie is reportedly one of the candidates for the role of Cleopatra, the last Egyptian Pharoah.
Although this update demonstrates the increased reliance on adaptations for ideas, the story of Cleopatra could create a very interesting film.
